Maddy

Hun fik selv lov at vælge hver gang, hvad hun ville have.
Hvil i fred min elskede lille Maddy

Today we have said a beautiful and dignified goodbye to our beloved Maddy. Born October 18 2001, diseased March 10 2018. Rest in peace my dear Maddy girl, born a Princess, lived and died as a queen.
Endless joy, happy moments, laughs, countless proud times has this little dog given us throughout 16 years and 4 months. And 90 decendants in 5 generations now, and still counting! We owe her so much, she has given us everything, and we have now given her peace, before she knew, that she had kidney failure and bad liver.
Her day started with that her and I sat up very early, and watched “Daddy” come home. An event which filled her entire little body with endless happiness. Then she ate her breakfast with great appetite and pleasure, after she had been jumping leaps and barking at me, declaring that it took too long to serve. Then we slept a few hours with her snuggled close in between us. When she got tired of that, she woke up Butch barking and tail wagging, and demanded he got up and served her treats. After that we took a round with the toys, and exchanged the blue limb with the red thing and the little rope for beef, chicken, her favorite canned food and boiled fish. She got to pick and choose each time, what she wanted. Then she enjoyed one of her favorite chew bones for the 6th time in 2 days. She did a few obedience exercises on the kitchen floor and proved that her memory was still flawless. And as usual, she didn’t want to quit. She managed, even today, to make us laugh. That’s how we will remember her
Early in the afternoon she got served a whole bowl of beef on the coffee table. We sat down on the couch with her, and she went to sleep content in my arms. Rest in peace my beloved little Maddy
